Julie has two children, Christi and Randall and one grandchild, Kylan. Christi and Kylan live in Orlando where they can be close to Julie and enjoy the city and beach life. Randall lives and works around the country, but spends as much time as possible with his Mom, Julie in Florida, and his grandparents in Alabama. Julie’s parents, Bonnie and Bobby Windle still live in Julie’s childhood home and she is fortunate to be able to visit there at least twice a year. Julie fought for her life back in 1984 and was not expected to live through the surgeries after her accident due to the damage done to her body. Not only did she live, but lived with a new lease on life and an appreciation for every day that most people will never have. Some days are still a struggle and there are times that medical issues keep her from doing some of the things that she would like to do, but she knows all too well that life is too short to not take advantage of every single day. |
